Our vision for Estate St. Croix
is
a peaceful,
safe, awe-inspiring
community where
residents live in communion
with nature, enjoying their
homes and all the region has to
offer in the way of recreation,
culture and friendship.
We support nature through
careful ecological practices,
such as minimized intrusion on
the land by our road placement
and design and by planting
native plants that provide food
and shelter to all types of
species. Purposefully, we have
left wood blinds and downed
trees for animal and bird
habitat; We have preserved the
mature trees, fern groves and
grassy meadows, allowing each
homeowner to shape his
individual home site; We avoid
and discourage the use
of pesticides and encourage
biodiversity.
Our planned amenities will make
outdoor living easy and
rewarding and encourage
sustainable habits by providing
convenient recycling facilities
on site. We want people to enjoy
the planned community areas,
including marked nature and
exercise paths, gazebo and
stairs to the private beach, a
scenic picnic area, a prepared
organic vegetable garden and
much more. If there is interest,
we may even build a greenhouse
for residents’ use.
Estate St. Croix’s
protective covenants
(available to qualified buyers)
are reasonable yet express our
desire to live in joyful
communion with our plant, animal
and human neighbors. We have
seen many species on and near
this special property including
eagles, osprey, loons, seagulls,
squirrels, songbirds,
hummingbirds, chipmunks,
rabbits, deer, raccoons, foxes
and many species of butterflies.
We hope to see you there as
well.
